It was a very foggy morning in London.The fog was so thick that it was impossible to see more than a foot.Buses，cars and taxis were not able to run and were standing by the side of the road.People were losing their way in the fog.Mr Smith had a very important meeting to attend and he had to walk ahead.He could find no one to help him.He tried not to lose his way but he did.Suddenly he bumped into（偶遇）a stranger and asked if he could help.The stranger promised（答应）to take Mr Smith to the place.Mr Smith thanked him and they started to walk.The fog was getting thicker and thicker every minute but thestranger had no difficulty in finding the way.They went along the street，turned down another，crossed a square and at lastt，after abouthalf an hour，they arrived at the meeting place.Mr Smith could not understand how the stranger found the way.“It's wonderful！"he said，
"But how did you find your way in the thick fog？"
"I am blind."
